Tuesday Morning Update on Danny

Julie called at 7 am. They last talked to the doctor at 11 pm. He said that Danny was in a critical and unstable condition, with significant bleeding. They are constantly adjusting various medications to keep all his vitals in as good a condition as they can. The doctor said that Danny was on the heart pump for eight hours, and the longer you're on a heart pump the longer it takes the body to adjust once out of surgery. Plus, Danny's heart has been used to pumping in it's unique way for five years, so there's a lot going on. The doctor did say that the first critical period is eight hours after surgery. Julie and Victor slept in the waiting room, the doctor wanted both of them to stay there last night and throughout today. Thank you for your continued prayers. Julie's mom and dad.
